$30 per month
(minimum of 5 runners)
•Beginning in 2009, DC Running Coach
will provide groups of runners the option to receive formal coaching in speed/interval workouts on the track.
•This
option is open to any local running club, or even a group of friends that train together on a regular basis.
•The
$30 fee from each runner will reserve your group 1 track workout each week for 4 weeks (a day, time, and location will be
agreed upon).
•Each session will begin with dynamic warm-up drills, which
improve running form, balance, coordination, and speed.
•Each session will end with supplementary
core training and/or flexibility training.
•It is assumed the runners will be doing additional running
throughout the week.
•Initial consultation to
establish baseline fitness and review training goals
•Variety in the workouts! The exercises will be
progressive in terms of intensity as the runners make further gains in fitness.
•Guidance in relation to
workouts you can do on your own throughout the week, as well as practical advice on your dietary habits.
•Re-evaluation
of progress and goals at the end of each month
•No charge for initial contact/consultation.
